Immortal Grayson is killing the protegees of his former teacher Darius to make him leave Holy Ground and fight him. Darius asks MacLeod to protect his mortal student Victor Paulus (Earl Pastko) from Grayson, so MacLeod saves Paulus' life twice and meets Grayson. Realizing Grayson will not give up, MacLeod fights and beheads him. MacLeod then joins Tessa and Richie in Paris and they settle on a barge near Notre Dame.
