This Alethiometer AKA Golden Compass was acquired by the production for use in 'The Golden Compass' (Warner Bros., 2007).
The alethiometer is a compass-like device that was used to communicate with dust and find truthful answers to one's questions. Made of cast bronze, this opening version of Alethiometer was used when the computer controlled hero version was not required.
