This hero flamethrower was acquired by the production for use in the movie 'The Thing' (2011).
This practical SFX flamethrower is constructed from metal, fiberglass, and copper parts. It has been designed to run off a small propane tank hidden in between the three main tanks. The prop has untested electronic components indicating four possible configurations and includes a remote control. It is being sold in untested and non-working condition.
The flamethrower is the signature weapon of 'The Thing' movies and this piece represents an incredible production artifact from the series.
