ONCE UPON A TIME Rumplestiltskin's Season 1 Dark One Dagger [SOLD]
This dagger was acquired by the production for use in 'Once Upon a Time' (ABC, 2011-2018).
Signature character dagger constructed of aluminum blade engraves on the face 'Rumplestiltskin' with filigreed design on both sides. Attached to a 7 in. cast resin grip with embedded faceted heart-shaped faux ruby and other gems.
This example is a season one dagger, after season 1 the engraving was changed and a thinner font was used for the name. First introduced in S01E08 the Dark One Dagger was famously miss-spelt and the engraving had to be covered with a sticker. The dagger appears again in S01E19. This dagger has been adapted for special effects use with a slot having been milled into the hilt. The dagger remains in excellent condition.
